Team: We Bring Events to Life
Music is our passion - driving us to create, inspire, and excite. Music allows us to relive moments and hold onto those we love. Performing music connects our soul, passion, and heart into a tangible expression.
Andy Kushner -
Founder and President
Andy forged his path in music as a trumpet player, and started his first band at 16 years old. After pursuing a highly-successful career in corporate America, he left and transformed himself into a world-renowned and award-winning celebrity Entertainment Designer. Beginning with our flagship band, SoundConnection, he has gone on to create four more phenomenal Acts. Andy is now taking the ever-competitive podcast industry by storm with two shows, The WeddingBiz and Extraordinary Ordinary People, a must-listen for anyone passionate about love, life, music, and, of course, weddings!
Rebecca Steele -
Executive Vice President
Music has always been a major part of Rebecca’s life, beginning with piano and violin, but eventually she found her true love with the viola. She began performing weddings in high school, and managing her wedding quartet in college. As life does, the right doors were opened at the right time, and she connected with Andy as he was forming PopCulture Strings. And the rest is … in the full bio!
Lauren Brettell -
Director of Administration
When Lauren was given a choice of what string instrument to play, she chose the viola, which is rare… and yes, there are two violists helping run the behind-the-scenes! Music and performing help guide her path around the United States and Europe, conveniently bringing her to the area where she then connected with PopCulture Strings and eventually Andy. We know the suspense is killing you, so just read her full bio!
Earle B. Lloyd III -
Director of Communications
With his dynamic personality and amazing talent, Earle caught Andy’s attention during a live performance. Right away, Andy asked him to be a front singer in his flagship band, SoundConnection – over 13 years ago!
Natalie Spehar -
Client Acquisition Manager
From the age of 4, Natalie’s passion for music was sparked! At the age of 10, she fell in love with the cello. She has been a key player in forming new musical groups, pushing the limits of not just the cello, but of classical music on the whole. Clearly, there is a theme of string players being a great fit for helping run the behind-the-scenes, so check out her full bio to hear how she joined our team!
